The model:  Mark has built a new Beacon Plumbing boat for the 2008 season after last year's boat met an early retirement at the hands of the rocks at Wild Waves.  The new boat is top notch and has started the season with two second place finishes and leading in season points. The original boat was actually finished at about the same time as the real boat.  Mark visited the U-37 shop and built this beautiful model with their help.  The Schumacher Racing crew even hooked him up with paint and graphics to match their new boat exactly.  Mark's got the boat set up with some powerful gear and it runs great.  Look for big things from him and this boat.

The real boat:  Billy Schumacher hit the scene as an owner in 2005 after purchasing the U-8 Bill Wurster team.  They had a very successful 2006 season with skillful driver Jean Theoret behind the wheel.  In 2007 they will hit the water with a new boat and revitalize the famous checkerboard paint scheme of the Miss Bardahl, which Billy "The Kid" drove to fame in 1968.
