The model: This is another nice boat from Jeff Campbell's garage that Bob had built in 07 to race in ERCU.  Bob brought it out for the 2008 CT Gold Cup and placed third with it.  The boat is fast and seems to handle well.  It's performing admirably in ERCU too.  

The real boat:  This boat came out of Ron Jones's shop along with a bunch of others in the early to mid 1970's.  It was fast, but had a tendency to get a little loose.  In '75 it was outfitted with a few different rear wing configurations in an attempt to tame it down.  The boat was inconsistent, but one of the fastest in the fleet.
