Info about the model: Mark replaced his 2006 edition of the Lite All-Star with this newer, more powerful one.  The 2007 version is equipped with deeper sponsons too.  The boat came out of retirement for another taste of competition at the 2009 Freedom Cup.  Mark has so many cool boats that he has to split time between them.  Mark has done a great job on the detail work.  The latest All-Star actually runs with an open turbine engine, like the real boat did most of the time.  It looks cool really.

Info about the real boat: Tom D'Eath drove this turbine hull in 1984.  The boat had it's share of problems, but would later be purchased by the legendary Bernie Little and would eventually be rebuilt as Budweiser's first turbine powered boat.
