The model:  The boat had a successful 2004 season and finished second in points.  She was very light and fast on her feet, but had a little difficulty with reliability.  The boat was retired at the end of the 2004 season.  Pete brought the boat back for one race in 2010 with brushless power but had limited results.  

 

About the real boat:  The boat showed promise in the engine department, running twin Ford motors.  However, a very ill handling hull overshadowed any potential of the automotive power.  Both Wheeler Baker and Todd Yarling spent time behind the wheel in 1988.
