THE BOAT DIVISIONS

DIVISION 1: The "vintage" class of boats where models are primarily 1/10th scale replicas of unlimiteds that were built and/or raced in the 1950's and 60's.  These boats can run any brushed motor on no more  than 12 sub-c cells or any brushless motor on no more than 10 sub-c cells.

Each season the high points champion in Division 1 is presented with the prestigious

Classic Thunder Trophy

DIVISION 2: The more modern class of boats where models are primarily 1/10th scale replicas of unlimiteds that were built and/or raced in the 1970's through present time.  These boats can run any electric motor on no more than 14 sub-c cells or a 4S LiPo cells.
